On Monday, August 31, 2009, at 8:30 in the morning, the first (and perhaps only) Brett Allsop Memorial Bagel Toast Happened. The proceeds of $100 for just an hour on a sidewalk went to the Brett Allsop Memorial Scholarship for Bellingham Dollar for Scholars.
